Who We are

It started out quite small. A handful of us were in Kandahar, working on other development projects where invariably local teachers would ask us to support their school.

While our other projects were not designed to support education, we found it next to impossible to ignore the requests of such passionate people.

Little by little we started suppling books, pencils, desks and engineering services to local schools. Soon enough, we started to receive donations from Canada, the US and nearby in Kandahar. We decided to establish a non-profit charity to take our project to scale.

In Canada, Drew and Erica Gilmour, who met and married in Afghanistan while doing aid work, support Luc Saint-Jean and our incredible Afghan team in Kandahar.
